Looked all over for a solution - but found nothing

I want to remove all the 'autocomplete/history' addresses from the address toolbar which I have activated in the taskbar (the one at the bottom of the screen just in case you were wondering)

I used the Internet Options and Autocomplete 'Clear Forms' in Internet Explorer, but this has not removed the list in the taskbar only the ones in the address bar in IE

Thanks for your help in advance

Hi

Try this:

Right click the Start button and then select Properties>Customise>Clear.

Use the Clear History button in Internet Explorer and also clear the RUNMRU

Restart.

Really appreciate your replies here guys, however, neither of these suggestions have helped me in my quest - you really wouldn't think it would be this difficult would you?

Any further help is warmly welcomed!

Another try:
Download ClearRecent http://kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/ClearRecent.Exe
Clear Typed URLs and RUN commands. Restart Windows.

If that does not help, see:
Delete the History folder and index.dat:
