XP takes a long time to log on

Alo one and all. I have just installed Windows XPP on 15 computers in a
suite. They connect to a W2k DC. When logging on most of the time they sit
on the 'applying your personal profile' for up to 4 minutes. Then if you
log off and log back on as the same user it is open in seconds. Does anyone
know why this occurs? Roaming profiles are not set either.

1) Check your DNS serveur on server side (the ISP DNS must be configured in
forwarders). Automatic update must be activated.
2) On client side, the DNS must be the ip of this server and not the ISPdns
 
Thanks. For some reason the DHCP had the ISPs DNS as #1 then the Server as
#2. Removed the ISP DNS and all is now very quick. Thanks again.
