XP Tablet Edition Compatibility

My Olympus digital voice recorder will not download files
to my Toshiba Portege 3500 running XP Tablet Edition.
Olympus say it is the fault of the operating system. It
works fine with XP Home, Millenium and 98SE. Why not with
XP Tablet Edition? Any way to work round this?

olympus should be able to tell wehter it will work or not
they are your best source of info
