I have download and installed many patches and fixes that
Windows recommends for XP and now on startup the system 32
file opens. I have check all the startup locations that I
am aware of but I can not find what is openeing this
file. This is annoying, does any one have any suggestions
on how to correct this?

Visit http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and scroll down
to Item No. 260. In the right column, click on "System32 Folder Opens
Upon Boot". Download this repair file and then run the repair.
