When I turn on my computer it stops during "boot-up" and
asks which operating system I want to run
1.) Windows XP
or
2.) Windows XP
During this choice it counts down from 20seconds... if I
don't make my choise it automatically goes to the 1.)
Windows XP.

How do I get it to boot straight into wondows XP with no
selection or count down?

Thanks

Go to Start > Run and type in: MSCONFIG , and hit enter,
Click the BOOT.INI tab.
Next, click "Check All Boot Paths".
This procedure should correct your BOOT.INI file.
