Hi. Anyone know when retail box versions of XP SP2 will
be in stores and at places like Amazon.com or Buy.com?
Will their be a red sticker on the front of the full and
upgrade versions saying Includes SP2 or Includes SP1 and
SP2? Thanks, Craig.

No idea. I don't even think they've announced an official release date
yet....but yes, I'm sure eventually the retail packages will include it.

No one knows any advanced marketing info until SP2 is released later this year.

At some point AFTER MS releases XP SP2 to the public. No telling yet
as there is no release date of SP2 in the pipeline to date.

The present retail products that are SP1 prepatched do not have an
identifying sticker on the outside.
It is likely his will also be the case once the pre patched SP2 product
enter the channel.
This is due to the need to avoid confusing the general public who may think
this is a "new" version of Windows XP they need to buy.
