Just went to an MS seminar ....
Maybe fall 2004 .....

But 2005 is not out of the question

All we can do is wait.
"Mid 2004" is vague at best.
Even the Fall could fit.
I doubt 2005 could though.
I would guess, September or maybe October, but that is just a guess.

That vagary, plus, why would you look forward to another 'buggy' set of
fixes for fixes? It will be a long day before I would download any SP from
Microsoft the moment it is released....let others do the troubleshooting for
Redmond first.

I have never had any issues with any patches or Service Packs.
As usual after proper preparation, I will likely install SP 2 within a
few days of release.
I expect no problems but if there are issues, they will be dealt with
quickly.
