XP SP2 opening ports

Hi

I want to start rolling out XP SP2 on our LAN using software update
services, however is there a way i can preconfigure the install of SP2 so
that when it is installed certain ports are opened up automatically, i dont
want to go round every machine opening up ports.

Note that the document in the link above does not explain what to
actually do to be able to use Netfw.inf to adjust the FW settings
as part of the SP2 installation (a.k.a. "before installation").

Are you upgrading existing XP installations to SP2? If so whatever the
current configurations etc are set to; should not be changed with SP2 pgrade.

Actually, in our domains, it enabled itself on EVERY MACHINE and blocked
all of our remote control software. The machines were running SP1 before
that.

I went into the Services section remotely and disabled SP2 Firewall on
every one of them.
