XP SP2: I gave up, uninstalled the sucker !

I got tired of frequent BSOD's telling me my hardware is bad (it isn't,
per 2004 SANDRA). My memory is fine.
My CPU is fine. XP SP2 just hates me <crying>
 
Hi, sorry to say but Sandra does not really test your hardware, it just
benchmarks it. The real tests to get are prime95 and memtest. Post your
results back here when you've run both these tests separately over a few
hours each.....

I am running Prime 95 right now and it is telling me " Fatal error:
Rounding was 0.4999465942, expected less than 0.4, hardware failure
detected, consult stress.txt file, execution halted"...so I guess I do
have a problem, crap
 
Prime in torture-test mode calling a failure usually mean RAM. Search
http://vivisimo.com for Software RAM Tester. If possible, try to get a
DOS or Linux based one that fits in a 32 to 128K footprint so you can
test all of your RAM.
