XP-SP2 boot problems

Hi there,

I've installed SP2 on an advent laptop - won't boot up,
just hangs on the startup screen. I've used system
restore to get the laptop working again, but just how do
I install SP2 successfully? I've now tried the above 3
times......

Thoughts/comments most welcome,

Bill,

the laptop is obviously incompatible with Service Pack 2, so
don't try to install it again until you have made some hopeful
change.

The cause can be any driver and also the BIOS. I would contact
the manufacturer. They have to do the work, because probably all
laptops of this type are affected.
