XP SP2 accessing COM+ through VPN

I'm trying to access a COM+ package sitting on a W2K server at the office.
Now my laptop has XP Pro, and I connect to the office network through the
internet using VPN. As of Friday, everything was working great. Then on the
weekend I installed SP2 ... now I get a "Permission Denied" error trying to
access the package.

Any ideas what I need to change to give myself access again?

For the record, I know that others at the office using XP SP2 can access the
package without a problem. So I'm fairly sure it's a combination of SP2 and
connecting over a VPN connection that's causing the problem. Also note that
I've tried disabling the firewall, without any luck.

Hi,
i got the same problem when working COM+ over VPN.
i noticed that when changing the "Remote Server Name" in the "Activation" tab in COM+ from the Server name ti IP,it does respond , but than it alerts that i don't have permission to work with the package.
I installed the KB884020 fix that was commented by Carey but it didn't help.
did you got any solution to your problem ?
