This SP _REALLY_ pisses me off! Typical microsoft arrogance! They force a
feature on you with no way to turn it off. It won't let the JS run on my own
home page THAT I WROTE. I have to turn it off each time I open the page -
several dozen times a day. There seems to be no way to turn this feature off
or even turn it off for a specific page or site. In general, I have a
substantial daily updated virus scanner. I DON'T NEED TO PUT UP WITH THIS
BS!!!
 
Nobody forced anything on you. If you're stupid enough not to disable
Auto-update, that's your problem.
If you don't want it, roll back to prior the install of SP@ (sic.)

Try asking nicely & someone may give you a solution.
 
What are you hoping for?.. that people will see your mindless rantings and
block the name that you are using such that they don't have to put up with
your BS?..

Typical OP arrogance! They post a bunch of mindless drivel on a
newsgroup with no point what-so-ever. It won't even let me read
through the newsgroups without seeing them kick and scream
with MY EYES. I have to ignore it each time I scan through the
groups - a couple of times a day. There seems to be no way to

Might I suggest you don't, and instead, you learn to civilly ask for what
you need and/or learn to search for the answer you need.

You wrote a web page and you used javascript, something in the new security
features of Internet Explorer (post-SP2) is blocking it. Have you added
your own site to the trusted sites list? Have you allowed popups from your
site always? What is your Security level and/or Filter level?
 
Let me get this straight...you can manage to find enough functioning brain
cells to create a home page, yet can't find enough functioning brain cells
to enable Java in the Options of Internet Explorer, or to figure out that
maybe you should be using Firefox?
