Has anyone noticed XP SP 2 seems to hang/crash more oftern than SP 1? I am
also noticing that when I log off or shut down the computer, nothing happens.
It takes several tries to get the computer to do what I what it to do. There
are no processes or applications running to delay/stop a log off/turn off.

I solved my internet access problem by checking Norton Internet Security
2004 Program Control in the Firewall. Something during SP 2's installation
had changed the Microsoft Generic Host Win 32 for "Automatic" to "Block".

I have noticed a significant delay in the shutdown
process since installing SP2 and have posted two threads
on this in this newsgroup. If you hear anything, could
you please forward to my e-mail at
(e-mail address removed)? I will do the same, thanks.
