XP Software - Validation Failure

Sir/Ma'am,

I have XP Pro on both of my computers. However, I think the version I
purchased is bunk. My latest update did a license validation and failed.
Request to know how to remove the validation software. Better yet, how can I
make my XP version legit. Please advise.

I wouldn't necessarily assume your copy is pirate, there have been numerous
false positives. If you check the MS website there is information on how to
make your copy legit.

Perhaps I'm reading your message incorrectly, but do you have a single copy
installed on both computers?

No, the second computer was purchased from a friend who already had XP installed on it.
