XP slow browsing in network

We have small network -two Windows-XP machines and one
Windows-98. When I browse shared files from Win-98 machine
on XP machine this work normal, fast. But when I browse
shared files from one XP machine on another XP machine, or
from XP machine on 98 machine -it turns out slowly, with
delay. How to adjust Win XP machines that browsing worked
more fast?

Do you have Kaspersky antivirus program installed? If so, Kaspersky
antivirus can cause a slowdown. You can read about it in the following

Hi Eric,

Yes, I have Kaspersky antivirus program installed on each
machine. Hmm, KAV is rather good program! I don't
understand, why its not get on with XP.
