XP shuts down periodically

My XP shuts down periodically I am not sure what is wrong with my computer.
Any idea where i should be looking for the problem. I went to the Event
viewer
"System" but i didn't see any significant problem.

some knows about this, please give me some advice.

Does it appear to shut off randomly or only when playing a game, etc?
When did it start happening? A faulty power supply could certainly
be the culprit among other things.
