I'm trying to install XP Pro on a newly formatted HD with
the 6 XP setup disks downloaded from the Microsoft site.
On the third disk I keep getting a error code "4" when
the system trys to download the "setupdd.sys" file. How
can I fix this so I can install XP. Feel free to E mail
or post.

Thanks, Mike

It is probably a bad floppy disk, create a new set of floppies.
Is there a reason why you can't boot from the CD to run setup?
BTW, in the spirit of peer support newsgroups, email replies are not usually
an option, but since you are posting from the CDO web format I made the
exception.
Please post your reply only to the newsgroups.
