XP setup not responding to F8

After reading the Licence agreement you can choose between
Esc. to Cancel or F8 to proceed. Esc works fine, but
nothing happens when I press F8.
Anyone????
 
If you have a keyboard with a F Lock key (from Microsoft or Logitech or
whoever), make sure the F Lock is enabled so that your function key acts as
a function key rather than a "special feature" key.

Are you using a keyboard with F Lock Key such as logic

tech has? It could just be the button. Just a thought!
