XP setup can't find file

During setup, I get the error message "Setup cannot copy
the file msi.mf_"
"Ensure the location specified below is correct, and
insert 'Windows XP Home Edition CD-ROM' in the drive you
specify." I do this, and it still cannot find the file.
What do I do?

I too am having the same problem. Everything was ok until
I updated the securtiy from the web site. My computer is
also looking for shlwapi.dll. My current problem is I
can't get it to boot at all. If I could boot from the
disk I would.

Any suggestions?
