I was able to download but SP2 will not install. I get error message
0x80200010. I tried to restore to several restore points without success.
Can I reset MS Update to download the update again or is there an easier fix?
MS Update says the files are on my PC and offers the "Install" option only.
However, as mentioned, it fails to initialize. This is very frustrating and
any help will be so appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that. I downloaded it on a different PC because the one mentioned
previously has only a dial-up connection (very rural area with no high speed
available!!) I wrote the SP2 update to a cd and was able to install it.
However, there are 49 other updates that I was able to download but they also
fail to install. You mention 3rd party firewall. I am running Norton -
should I uninstall it? I don't have alot of faith in it! How do I get
updates to install? Thanks again

Sounds like you may have a third party firewall blocking. You can download
the full version and install.

Thanks again Dave. Turning off the firewall did not fix the problem but some
of the earlier downloaded updates did finally install. I can't explain why
they will not install when I download them but some do install later -
sometimes up to 2 days later. We may just have to wait until high speed gets
to our area!!

Try turning off the norton firewall. You only need one software firewall.
