XP Service Pack 1a

My computer froze up during the last stages of the
download for service pack 1a. I restarted my computer,
and on the updates pg, it says it's "in progress", but
nothing is going on. Under "critical downloads" where it
used to say "1" for the XP Service Pack, it now
says "0". Any ideas on how to fix this?
