I am having issues on my windows xp machine and need to reinstall xp. is it
possible for me to get a new copy of xp free?

No. You probably have the restore XP feature on a hidden partition.
Contact the people you got your computer from to get information on how
to put the computer back to factory settings.

lol, no, you cannot. Contact the folks that sold you the computer, or check
the papers/manuals that came with it for how to do this. The seller is
required to have given you the ability to reload it to factory settings by
law, so you should have it around.
