xp restart

i have windows xp and it keeps giving me a message to
save work and something about nt authority\system windows
must now restart because the remote procedure call (rpc)
service terminated unexpectatly
 
see other messages in this group regarding Blaster Worm virus. it sounds
like that is the problem you are having
 
Why don't you have Auto-updating enabled? If it had been enabled and you
kept your system patched then this would not have happened. Furthermore,
enable ICF - the built-in firewall - if applicable.
