XP Resore CD

Can I download a restore CD from Microsoft, or do I have to request one
through the customer service order line? I have the hardware key, but the
disk I have doesn't work for some reason.
 
If XP came pre-installed on your computer, you must contact the computer
manufacturer for replacement disk.

Please describe your disk in as much detail as possible. Where did you
obtain it?

Also what is the make and model of your PC?

Finally, what problem or problems are you experiencing with your PC?
