Hi guys, XP told me that file secur32.dll was corrupt or unreadable and
to run chkdsk.

I did this and now my PC gets just past the XP start up screen (black
background) and reboots itself.

My PC can't boot to CD.

What can I do?

Clint.

Clint, do you mean you don't have that option in the Bios. Boot to CD?
If you can borrow a friends computer and install
your hard drive as slave. Then access the C:\Windows\Win32\Config Folder.
Delete Default, Security, Sam, System and
Software Files. Then go to C:\Windows\Repair copy those same files and
paste them back into the Config folder.
That works about 75% of the time.
