XP Reinstall

I have purchased (2) PC's with XP Home Edition installed. (EOM) This makes
them both legitimate copies.. CD's did not come with either PC. I now need
to reinstall XP, and do not have the CD's to do this. Any idea how to get
software without purchasing so I can reinstall.

Call the PC maker and inquire about getting full reinstallation disks (not recovery disks). If they say they can't, then demand them, or tell them you'll return the PC(s) (if that is still an option). If you don't have that (return) option, and they don't supply them, then you may have to buy retail versions. In any case, if you buy and install retail versions, the PC maker may not give you further support, since you will have loaded a non (OEM)-PC version of the operating system.
 
Contact the manufacturer of your PCs for support assistance or read
the User's Guide that came with your computer. You probably have
a hidden partition which contains the Windows XP files. The User's
Guide will explain how to restore your Windows XP operating system.

Contact the computers' respective manufacturers. Only they can
provide the necessary OEM installation CDs.
