XP re-install

I will soon be moving everything to a new HD. I plan to install Windows on the new drive and transfer the files. Is there a prefered order to installing new software? After XP PRO and all updates then ZoneAlarm, Adaware, Spybot, MacAfee Antivirus, Office and updates and then all the rest. Any suggestions?
 
This is what I would do:

Install XP
Install ALL updates and patches from MS
Install Office
Install ALL office updates and patches
Install Antivirus
Install all the rest of your programs.

What about enabling a Firewall of some kind before going off to Windows
Update?
