I want to use the same profile on all my XP Pro machines at home without the
use of a server.

Is there a practical or third party method to accomplish this?
Can I share out the profile folder on the main computer for use by the
others at logon?
Should I run a a batch to 'copy down' & 'copy up' the profile at logon/logoff?
Ideas? - Solutions?

In case you cared... I got this working first try.
Did no one know this, really? Or was I just being ignored spazed?

The Set up
First I created 2 identical accounts (same name) on 2 different XP Pro
machines on my home network.

Computer 1: The Pimp
After creating the account here I restarted the computer.
Once back up, I logged in to create the local profile.
Once in, I shared out the test user's profile folder in C:\Documents &
Settings.
I made some changes to the profile then (added a favorite/changed wallpaper)
for testing purposes. I logged out.

Computer 2: The Whore
I created the same account here. I opened the Local Users & Group snap-in
and choose the Properties of my new account.
I set the profile path to \\The Pimp Computer\sharename (which was the same
as the account name) under the profile tab.
After restarting & logging in as that account, sure enough the desktop
setting was apparent as was the favorite I created.
While logged in here I created another favorite and logged out. When I went
back to my pimp computer, bam, that favorite had been written back to the
profile.
