In trying to do a clean install of XP, before files are copied and after
typing the product key I get the blue screen with the message "The following
value in the .sif file used by setup is corrupted or missing: Value 0 on the
line in section [SourceDisksFiles] with key "sp1.cab". Setup cannot continue.
To quit setup, press F3." Any help with this would be appreciated. This a
brand new copy of XP Professional upgrade and I do have the 98 SE disk for
previous Windows verification. And the setup does get through all this before
the error. So again any help, comments or solutions is appreciated.

If you are using the Windows XP setup disks,
make sure you have downloaded the correct set of setup disks.

If your have a Windows XP CD with SP1, you need to download
the setup disks for use with the Windows XP SP1 installation CD.

If your Windows XP installation CD does not include SP1,
use the setup disks for the "original release" of Windows XP.
