XP Professional license on two computers

I recently found out that the IT person before me installed one XP Pro
license on two PCs. I'm not sure why. But I need to correct the situation by
changing the serial number to a new one, which I have. How do I accomplish
this?

You'd need to reinstall the operating system. As long as you have the
licenses don't worry about it.

Why would he need to reinstall the OS? As long as they buy same kind of
Product Key as the OS that is installed, then changing the key through
the PA wiard is simple and fast.

Reinstall?! Only if you are stupid!

I have that program. I did not know you could use it to change the installed
