I am attempting to upgrade to XP Professional. I received
the message that 'NVIDIA AGP filter' was not compatible.
(The currently installed driver for the NVIDIA NForce
device is not compatible with this version of Microsoft
Windows. Setup will not be able to complete.
To download a new NVIDIA NForce driver, visit NVIDIA's
Web site. Web addresses can change, so you might be
unable to connect to this Web site.
For a list of devices supported by this version of
Windows, see the list of compatible hardware on the
Microsoft Web site)
I went to website and downloaded the current driver, but
I still get the message.
I have rebooted my PC, but still ahve the problem.
I went to Microsoft website but it says my drivers are
current.
Any suggestions? I really want to upgrade.
Thanks

Try this and see if it helps. If you have a W98 machine go to my computer, right click>properties>device manager. Remove the video card. Then reboot and have W98 reinstall it. You will need to know where the new drivers are just in case. By the way, just checking. You did install as well as download the drivers? I had driver confiicts with an upgrade and this worked for me. Hope it helps.
