I am currently running XP Home and need to install to XP
Pro, I downloaded the software from microsoft that checks
for compatibility issues, it showed one, I took care of
it. When I actually tried to install the XP pro from the
disk, the same program stated that my display driver would
not be compatible with XP and to go to the NIVDIA driver
website and download the latest driver, did that and XP
PRO still says that it cannot install and just quits the
installation process. Please help, I did download the
driver and saved it instead of just opening it from
location. Any ideas?

I havn't got a solution for you but i'm having trouble
with my geforce card on xp to. Have you got any older
card drivers on there because you may need to take them
off, especially SIS. If you come up with something
please gimme a shout. Thanks.

Are you saying you downloaded the driver but didn't install
it, or bother to read the instructions? My car wouldn't
start and someone told me it was because it was out of gas,
so I bought a gallon of gas and put it next to the car in
the garage, but the car still won't start. Can someone
help?

Strange. The drivers for XP Home and XP Pro are the same.

The only thing that I can think of is that the installer is complaining
because you are using unsigned drivers. If so, either download/install the
latest signed drivers, or uninstall the current drivers and let XP install
signed drivers. (Alternate, don't install any drivers, and leave it as a
generic VGA device.)

Good luck.
