Here's the situation: Lan composed of 5 XP home, 1 Mac, 1
Win2K, 1 Win95, 1 XP Pro and a Server 2003 (runs as file
server no domain controller). Everything is connected with
a Startech switch and internet is shared with a Netgear
router. Every pc connects well to the server and can
access the resources except XP pro ("... You may not have
permission to use this network
resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find
out if you have access permissions. Network path not
found."). I've checked the protocols (IP and AppleTalk are
installed on the server), workgroup name (xxxxx-zzzzz),
user name and password, Computer browser service, anti-
virus, firewall, locall policy, you name it. If someone
has a suggestion to connect my XP pro...
Thanks.
