We upgraded our PC from 98 to XP Home last January without
any problems. Since then we have been sure to load all
updates and keep our virus scan up to date.
Now we need to go to XP Pro. We've got the Upgrade disk
but receive one the following two messages when we insert
the CD:
The procedure entry point GetStartupInfo@ could not be
located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.
The procedure entry point GetCommaodLineA could not be
located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll. (Yes,
GetCommaodLineA is what it says.)
The version of KERNEL32.DLL is 5.1.2600.1106. We copied
the file from another computer (thinking this one may be
corrupt) but it was the same version, and we still receive
the message.
