Hi,

We are using an xp pro workstation sp2 as a file server on the lan. The
other clients are win 98 and win xp home. When user on the xp pro server
changes a shared document, all other users are now unable to access this
file. How do we fix this so everyone can access and change the files?
Windows firewall is off on the xp pro file server/workstation.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Check that NTFS permissions on the file after change allow access to the account of remote users.
