I did a reinstall of XP Pro in place to try to resolve
performance problems. It gets to about "34 mins. left"
(It's talking about Movie Maker) then ends with a
bad_pool_caller error message and an explanation it is
shutting down the computer to prevent damage. Then setup
restarts.
The only recent change was that I had installed the Movie
Maker 2 upgrade from the Windowsupdate site. When I try
to access Windows via Safe Mode it says "setup will now
continue" so I can't get in to try uninstalling Movie
Maker or even access my NTFS "My Document" files.
