Hi,
A while back I installed XP Pro in a home family PC.
For some reason, it always required me to change the startup password
periodically.
That bothered me but never fix the configuration, and since I'm terriby bad
at remembering passwords and too lazy to fix the problem, I just alternated
bettwen 2 naive passwords (it's the family PC so how cares)
Then I bought a new PC with XP Home, which fortunately doesn't required a
boost password, and simply foget about the old PC.
Today, about 6 months since the last time I used it, I want to boost the old
PC and as usual, it requires me to change the outdated password, but... it
says that the password I entered is invalid!!!
Either the OS is wrong or last time I (had to) change it I used a password
which now I forgot
What can I do now?
TIA
