xp pro office shortcut bar

i recently installed the option of an office shortcut
bar, but when i turn the computer off then on again the
shortcut bar goes away. why is this and how can i get the
bar to always appear?

See if this helps. Set it up again, then run this edit:

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
