I have a 3 comput network setup with xp pro on all. 2 of the computers work
fine and can send and receve to each other but not to the 3rd one. The two
cand see the 3rd one but can not touch the files. Through My Network Places
get error msg
(\\XXXcomper\c is not accessable. You may not have permission to use this
network resource. Contact the bal bal bal have permission.

Not enough server storage is available to process this command)

this error come up one all 3 computers when trying to get to files on the
3rd computer through My Network Places.computer 3 can access the other
computers fine. I have run the normal test as ping IP,host.ipconfig, net
view, net share and it all come out fine.Did what
http://www.michna.com/kb/wxnet.htm said to do. The only thing I have not
tryed is to remove the network off computer3 and reinstall it.

Network runs dsl on all fine no firewall on computer 2 or 3.Dsl modem is 2
wire and has firewall. In the LAC on all computers they use Client for
Microsoft Networks, File and printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks,QoS
Packet Scheduler, AEGIS Protocol [IEEE 802.1x]v2.3.1.9 and TCP/IP.

So now does anyone have any other Idea before I go nuts trying ti fix this.

There can be many causes for the not-enough-server-storage error. Almost
none of them have anything to do with what we commonly think of as
'storage.' In your case this error is most likely related to the default
IRPStackSize setting. Try:

Start/Run regedit ENTER.

Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\parameters

Check for the presence of a value named IRPStackSize. If it doesn't exist,
create it as type DWORD. Set the value to decimal 15. Reboot the computer.

See: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=177078 - Norton is only one of many
possible causes for this error.

To Jerry Thanks for you input but did not help. But I did injoy the sites and the knowledge I gained from them.

To Doug that was the place of the trouble. Had to rise the value from 11 to
14 and reboot the computer. wha-La!! working smooth as a grease babys bottom.
It must had been norton system works. The one part of norton I did not remove
from the network as I set it up.

Strange thou it did not mess with the other two computers as they both had
the same program on them as the other one had and they all had the same value
in the IRPStackSize.

Again Tanks to all for your great help.
