Hello all, I have two problems to contend with

1) I have two XP Pro machines on a Windows 2000 ADS Domain. All communications are working fine; able to ping by name and ip. However, when I got to My Network Place --> Entire Network --> Microsoft Windows Network and click on the domain, I receive a message: "<Domain Name> is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available." It was working find yesterday but now it's acting up. Also, the account I'm using to access the network is the domain administrator account so permissions should be fine

2) I installed the Windows 2003 Administrative Tools on one of the XP Pro machines. Using the Administrative Tools --> Active Directory Users and Computers, I am able to view information on all Domain Controllers and Computers on the Domain. I am also able to view the properties for the user accounts. However, when I click the "Account" tab on one of the accounts Windows gives me a message: "Windows cannot determine if DC01 (my domain controller) is registered on the ******** domain. RPC Server is unavailable

Please give me any tips to point me in the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank yo

Yes, I am able to ping the DNS Server by name and ip. The DNS Server is running on the same computer that is the DC. I even checked the DNS Service on the DC and can see the mapping of the XP Pro computer

I am still getting the same error message about the RPC Server being unavailable as in my first post. All AD entries have been checked and double checked with no errors
