Running XP Professional on Dell 8200. Machine is 3 years old, with no
real issues, but now when powered on, machine boots, but within 2
minutes, or less, locks up. Cntrl, Alt, Del will not bring up task
manager, and I have no mouse, the only way to turn it off is to turn
off at surge protector. I have tried to reset to a restore point, but
machine will not stay up long enought to do that.[/FONT] U N D E F I N

Check to make sure the cooling fan mounted on the processor is
still spinning... the processor sends a signal to the Bios to
STOP NOW when it overheats, and the motherboard shuts down
