I just setup a limited user on my computer and want to
run quicken from the new user. I created a shortcut to
quicken and placed it on the desktop. When I double click
it, the quicken logo screen flashes and then goes away.

I suspect I installed it in the wrong place (c:\quickenw)
or the limited user doesn't have rights or sharing ...?

Thanks.

Quiken does not play well with Windows XP as it
ignores the made for Windows recommendations.
Check their website to see if they have provided
anything to bring their software up-to-date.

As a first approach if you need to fix this yourself,
open a cmd prompt and issue
cacls c:\quickenw /e /t /g users:c
(this assumes it is installed where you indicated)
This will grant an limited user the ability to change
anything within this folder and its subfolders, but
will leave all other permissions as they are.
