XP Pro Launch bars

I have several launch bars on my vertical taskbar. I am unable to control
the layout (which icon is where on each bar). I can control where each bar
goes (as a whole) and its contents (with the exclusion of the icon order as
mentioned earlier). Another problem is that Windows occasionally (probably
during log in or log out) rearranges the bars.

Are these problems known bugs in XP? I do not remember seeing them on my XP
Pro laptop (which is for now out of service and not something that I compare
with).

Hi Will,

Set them accordingly then run this edit:

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

Your file did not help either. After I installed it, I rebooted due to
something downloaded by Automatic Updates. Afterwards, at least one of my
bars was rearranged.

There is one other problem that you might know a fix for. When my QL bar
has IE Zoomer (a PC Magazine utility) and Mozilla next to each other,
Mozilla will launch when I drag a graphic from a Outlook e-mail to IE
Zoomer. Care to guess what is going on? This has never involved any other
combination of icons (though I never drop to anything else) and disappeared
when I rearranged to force the two icons apart. Furthermore, if I simply
clicked on IE Zoomer's button, it opened just fine.
