Hi,

I have a laptop from work that is going screwy...
It is Linux/XP PRo dual boot, and the LAN connection under
XP doesn't work.
When I boot Linux there is no problem with the
connectivity, but when I boot XP there is no connection.
The hub doesn't even notice that anything is connected to
it (When I boot up the light where the LAN line goes into
stays off).
What makes this frustrating is it was working earlier in
the week, and I turned it off to use Linux, then when I
turned it back on (the next day) the connection wouldn't
come up. There are no problems with the TCP/IP settings,
since I didn't change anything, I just shut the box down
and wanted to turn it on again later.
The diagnostics say that the hardware and drivers are all
ok, and I can ping myself, but not the DNS or gateway.

By the way, it is an Acer Travelmate 800.

If anyone has any experience with this, or any suggestions
to help me along, it would be REALLY!!!!!! appreciated.

posting the result of ipconfig /all here may help.
