XP PRO internet AUTHORITY SYS

Just installed xp pro, had lots problems but fixed like
modems etc Wel when i conetc to internet it only stays on
for 5 min then i get the box AUTHORITY SYS CLOSED down
pc every time. Does any one know what the problem is ?

Sounds like you've been infected with the Blaster worm.
Follow the steps in this article carefully:

http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/blast.asp

Also, in future, ensure you have a firewall on your Internet Connection,
and also keep up to date with patches etc using Windows Update.
