My hard drive crashed so I bought a new hard drive and an
OEM XP Pro disc. I set the bios to boot from the CD rom
and the ZP installation starts. The drive is formatted and
a long lists of files installs. I then get a message
saying that the pc will reboot in 15 seconds and complete
the installation. After reboot the pc goes into a cycle of
attempting to load XP and then rebooting but it never tries
to complete the XP installation. I have tried different
jumper settings on the drive, changing the boot sequence,
reformatting and reinstalling and nothing works.

If anyone has any suggestions I would sure appreciate the help.

Do not hit "any key" when XP's setup reboots the first time.
XP setup will reboot on its own. In other words, ignore the
message to press "any key" to boot from your CD Drive the
first time setup reboots on its own.
