My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:

Is it formatted with NTFS? If so then it will hardly ever check the drive
which is one of the benefits of NTFS over FATx formatting.

If you do want it to run you can start > run > type "cmd" without the quotes
hit enter > type "chkdsk C: /r" without the quotes and hit enter. When
prompted to do so select Y to schedule it for the next boot. Reboot when
you're ready and let it run.

XP Pro does not check the hard disks when the power is interrupted for
various reasons such as in laptop the batteries goes flat etc.

Perhaps this is one of the best things about XP because it does not
corrupt the HDs!!

Win98SE was the worst in my opinion!!!

OK cool I thought that there is possibly something wrong with it, but that
is awesome then, no corruption on the disks. Thanks guys.

Jamie, open MyComputer>rt click on your Drive Icon>select
Properties>Tools>Error Checking select Check Now. You
will probably get a message saying it can't do it now and will perform
the operation on the next restart. Check Ok and restart. See if it Error
Checking starts Ok.
