Hello,

I have had a Creative WebCam 5 on my XP box for a few months and all was
okay.

Now I have a new box with an Asus P4B533-E mobo and evey time I connect
the Webcam it crashes with a blue screen.

The message is..

0x000007E (0x000005,0xF8697BA6)
usbhub.sys address F8697BA6 base at F8696000, Date Stamp 3Ca8e12a

I have a usb hub plugged in and the speakers connected to it work fine
but as soon as I plug the webcam in, I get it has found the it and then
goes looking for drivers, then I get this mesasage. It has happened 3
times now.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

David

The same problem

Hello: i have the same problem that you. I have installed the XP, and when I try to connect my webcam in the USB connector, it turns into a blue screen, with the message
USBHUB.SYS Address F8697BA6...

Have you solved your problem? Can you tell me how i can do to connect my camera??

Thanks a lot!!
