XP Pro. Admin password.

recently my brother gave me his old PC and it is loaded with XP. Pro. but I do not know the pass word to get in. Is there a way I can wipe the hard drive clean and start again. I don't need any of the info on the drive anyway. I have several different operating systems I can put on.

Sure you can.

Boot from the CD containing your favorite OS, then proceed to set up your OS
from there. If prompted about formatting the drives, reply "yes". (Make sure
you really don't need any info on that drive, before doing that)

TRY PLACING "SYSTEM RECOVERY" CD IN DRIVE, THEN

RESTARTING.
