XP Private Folders

HELP!!

I was forced to reinstall my Windows XP, (HD was having
issues) however while I now have the documents and
settings folder from the previous installation I cannot
access my ROSS folder.

I need to remove the privacy on this folder. All my
writing is on my desktop and is invaluable to me.

Any assistance you can lend is appreciated.

Ross,

What I would do and have done successfully, is to logon as the admin
taking ownership of the profile folder in question.. Then applying
everyone with full control on the folder. Then copy it out of the D/S
folder, gaining full access to it from any account.
